Velotic is seeking a Lead Revenue Accountant to oversee revenue accounting activities, ensuring accurate recognition under US GAAP and ASC 606. This role partners with Billing, Sales, and Finance to manage complex contracts and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has extensive revenue accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Netsuite and ERP systems. This position offers a clear path for leadership within the Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting or finance experience with revenue accounting focus.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with contracts and revenue recognition in software/SaaS/tech.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (Netsuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day revenue accounting activities and ensure accurate recognition.
• Analyze contracts under ASC 606 and determine revenue treatment.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for revenue accounts.
• Monitor deferred revenue, contract assets/liabilities, and related balances.
• Support month-end close and audits with technical accounting guidance.
