Amentum is seeking a Lead Recreation Services Specialist to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role oversees recreational activities, programs, and facilities, driving high-quality customer experiences and maintaining safety and operations.

You will lead lifeguard training, coordinate sports leagues (Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Flag Football), manage facilities, and participate in marketing efforts to engage the local community.

Formación

• Minimum three years of experience in military or civilian recreational services.
• Certification as American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Instructor.
• Proficiency in officiating Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football.
• Marketing and promotion experience for recreational programs or events.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple programs.
• Ability to complete and maintain required training and certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and supervise recreational services with safety protocols.
• Lead lifeguard training programs as instructor.
• Manage and coordinate sports leagues and events; officiate games.
• Oversee facilities, equipment, and supplies for operational readiness.
• Officiate games and organize events for Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football.
• Assist in planning recreational events and tournaments; promote activities.
• Develop and promote recreational activities to engage participants.
• Ensure positive customer experience; address inquiries promptly.
• Monitor participation and feedback to identify improvements.
• Support recreational marketing to promote programs locally.
