Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Customer Services Manager to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by addressing requests, providing accurate information, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries from walk-ins, phone, email; maintaining records; training staff; and ensuring policies align with US Navy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple requests.
• Proficiency in software tools for communication, documentation, and data tracking.
• Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
• Ability to obtain visas and meet medical and security requirements for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer requests with accurate information and timely status updates.
• Manage inquiries from walk-ins, phone, fax, or email in a professional manner.
• Investigate and resolve complaints to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and resolutions per procedures.
• Develop and uphold customer service standards aligned with Amentum and US Navy requirements.
• Act as primary point of contact for customer relations and coordination with departments.
• Train, support, and mentor staff in customer service practices.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to operations and satisfaction.
• Document and maintain customer service policies for consistency and compliance.
