EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Lead Python Developer to own architecture, quality, and secure delivery. You will guide the team through code reviews, optimize performance, and support AWS releases plus ReactJS integration work.

Responsibilities include architecting scalable backend systems, mentoring developers, ensuring security practices, and producing technical docs. Requires 5+ years in software dev and 1+ year leading teams, with strong Python and AWS expertise.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams.
• Advanced Python skills for building, maintaining, and enhancing applications.
• Experience with ReactJS to build user interfaces and integrate with backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS for cloud deployment and operations.
• Strong foundation in database design, management, and optimization.
• Working proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Understanding of Python web server configuration and deployment.
• Awareness of security best practices in software engineering.
• Experience implementing user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken.
