Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a production supervisor position.
• 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent verbal and written English skills preferred.
• IAFT 16949/ISO14001 knowledge.
• Ability to generate procedures and work instructions; knowledge in material control and corrective action processes.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff activities to meet goals.
• Mentor team daily; foster teamwork and problem solving.
• Maintain order and discipline in area; supervise payroll and safety.
• Ensure activities meet objectives and production plans.
• Oversee safety standards and training certification of subordinates.
• Provide tools and equipment; ensure start-up meetings and clean work areas.
• Lead improvements and analyze customer complaints for resolution.
