Weidmann Electrical Technology in Arteaga (Saltillo, Coah. Mx) seeks an experienced Production Planning professional to coordinate scheduling and ensure efficient use of capacity, materials and resources.

You will work cross-functionally to balance workloads, maintain inventory, and improve profitability through effective planning and control. This on-site role targets leadership in a global transformer industry context.

Formación

• Industrial Engineering or related technical degree required.
• 5 years experience in production scheduling, shop floor control, or operational planning.
• Experience with ERP systems or scheduling software (MES, APS, etc.).
• SAP ERP experience, especially PP, MM, SD modules, preferred.
• Six Sigma knowledge; statistically oriented problem solving.
• Strong MS Office skills and data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate production planning and control administration according to customer needs and demand, including schedules and documentation.
• Ensure KPI targets and production plan adherence, with reports and metrics.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to balance workload and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels for internal allocation and distribution of materials.
• Define and coordinate priorities with Materials Buyer according to demand.
• Analyze inventory and actions to reduce usage and optimize material consumption.
• Follow established procedures, work instructions, and operational controls.
• Coordinate BOM and routing changes with Planning Engineers for future requirements.
• Prepare and deliver workload reports for production areas.
• Communicate delays and propose solutions with Production Engineers.
