Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico seeks an experienced manufacturing lead to supervise front-end production processes, ensuring adherence to work instructions, safety rules and quality standards.

Formación

• Experience leading a work group and ensuring proper execution of assigned steps.
• Ability to adhere to internal work instructions and safety rules.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for wafers/components/semi-products.
• Familiarity with basic machine setup and CNC/SPS programming when required.

Descripción del empleo

Ensuring compliance with production plans and production line outputs and keeping production assigned overall efficient. Adhering or ensuring adherence to relevant internal work instructions, safety rules and applicable regulations (e.g., EHS). Planning or contributing to unit’s budget, allocating resources and keeping manufacturing cost as planned. Executing, supervising or managing manufacturing front-end processes a assigned, according to specified procedures, e.g.:

• Preparation of wafers, components or semi-products and monitors related hand-stock.
• Processing components or semi-products/products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic machine-related setup and/or CNC / SPS-programming, if required.

Cooperating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues. A job at this level… Leads work group members, and ensure proper execution of assigned steps in the process. Supervises work group activities, decide immediate actions if necessary, while at the same time working as senior team member in the line.
