As part of Celestica's Global Automation team in Monterrey, Mexico, you will lead the design, procurement, implementation and optimization of automated equipment for high‑tech manufacturing. Celestica aims to elevate OEE and precision tooling through structured execution pathways.

The role blends 60% turnkey projects with external integrators and 40% in‑house development, requires URS/SOW creation, supplier evaluations, 3D CAD reviews, BOM tracking and on‑the‑floor commissioning.

Formación

• Authors clear URS, SOW, and LOR for custom automation equipment.
• Leads supplier evaluations, CAD reviews, and material selection.
• Oversees EOAT, pneumatic fixtures, conveyors, and alignment mechanisms.
• Tracks BOMs, long-lead parts, and procurement to meet milestones.
• Implements DFAA, 8D problem solving, and preventive maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to define mechanical requirements.
• Direct machine assembly, alignment, and shop‑floor commissioning.
• Conduct FAT with external integrators and internal teams.
• Perform data analysis using PM workbook and Smartsheet.
• Ensure compliance with Celestica standards and report in English/Spanish.
