Celestica Monterrey is seeking an entry-level Developing Controls Engineer to join the Global Automation team. You will support both Turn-Key projects with external integrators (60%) and in-house control development (40%), bridging basic engineering with hands-on project support.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Automation Engineering at Celestica's Monterrey center, collaborating across sites and languages to drive structured documentation, BOM tracking, and FAT/SAT execution.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer, or Robotics Engineering.
• Entry-level with 0–2 years in industrial automation or related projects.
• Proficient in English and Spanish (B2 level) for global coordination.
• Strong learning agility and problem-solving in fast-changing manufacturing environments.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct shop-floor process audits and data gathering to baseline cycle times and bottlenecks.
• Document URS and SOW protocols to validate automation concepts.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and benchmark Turn-Key solutions against Celestica standards.
• Assist in PLC logic development, HMI layouts, and industrial communication setups.
• Track procurement, PO creation, and import logistics for control hardware.
• Support FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioning of automation equipment.
• Maintain structured project tracking with Excel/Smartsheet; provide status updates to leadership.
