The Standard Mexico City is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our Laundry department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and garment care throughout the hotel. You will supervise Laundry Attendants, manage inventory and supplies, and monitor washing, finishing, and distribution processes to maintain consistency and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Laundry department operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead Laundry Attendants, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Manage linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments per standards.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution processes.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure presentation and cleanliness.
• Coordinate delivery/collection of linens across departments.
• Maintain inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies.
• Monitor chemical usage and equipment performance; report maintenance needs.
• Train and develop staff on procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and workload distribution.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and chemical handling compliance.
• Support cost-control through inventory management and waste reduction.
• Prepare daily operational reports and share updates with leadership.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
