Fulcrum Digital in Mexico City, Mexico is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a remote contractor engagement with one of our top client engagements in payments technology.

You will act as a technical leader, guiding architecture and design with client teams, building scalable cloud-native applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices, while adopting AWS best practices and modern development workflows.

Formación

• Proficiency with Java 17+ and Spring Boot for building scalable applications.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices and API-first architectures.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and AWS best practices.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide architecture decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical and design discussions to accelerate adoption of new technologies.
• Architect and build scalable cloud-native applications.
• Leverage serverless, containers, and microservices paradigms.
• Advise on cloud best practices and continuous improvement.
• Set and enforce policies and standards related to cloud technology.
