Job summary

Wood Mackenzie is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead the Americas Gas & LNG consulting team. You will manage a broad range of projects, shape opportunities, and deliver insights to support critical client commercial decisions.

You will work with senior client teams across North and Latin America, coordinating project delivery, modeling, and presentations while coaching teammates and expanding our consulting impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, finance, statistics, or engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a management consulting or energy-focused consulting role, or other strategic/commercial/analyst role related to gas, LNG or energy markets across the Americas.
• Experience managing key project workflows and coordinating projects in a workstream manager role.
• Advanced data analytics and Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of natural gas within the energy value chain.
• Strong understanding of financial and commercial concepts, business models and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting projects, coordinating with a Project Director.
• Develop market fundamentals and pricing models for natural gas and LNG.
• Build and present presentations for senior audiences with concise messages.
• Support creation and review of consulting proposals that demonstrate client value.
• Coach teammates and contribute to recruiting and training within the practice.
