Wood Mackenzie, a global leader in analytics and energy insights, seeks a Managing Consultant for the Americas Gas & LNG Consulting team. You will lead client-facing projects, shape opportunities, perform analyses, and manage deliverables across the Americas with frequent cross‑sector collaboration.

Based in Mexico City or Houston, you will travel within the Americas and mentor junior staff while developing strategy and commercial insights for senior clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in management or energy-focused consulting.
• Experience coordinating projects and managing junior staff.
• Strong data analytics and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Americas Gas & LNG consulting projects and deliver insights.
• Act as Project Manager coordinating detailed project plans.
• Analyze commodity markets and project economics.
• Develop market fundamentals and pricing models.
• Create presentations for senior clients.
• Support proposals and demonstrate value to clients.
• Engage in broader consulting practice activities.
• Build internal network across consulting, research, and sales.
• Coach teammates and develop consulting skills.
