EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a Scrum team, owning both backend and frontend tasks. The role requires strong Python expertise with FastAPI, and an IaC mindset in AWS environments, plus Postgres, Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind to deliver modern cloud-native apps.

You will participate in code reviews, refine development workflows, and actively engage in Scrum ceremonies while applying SOLID principles and RESTful APIs.

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• At least 1 year leading and managing development teams.
• Hands-on Python experience, especially FastAPI, for backend services.
• IaC methods to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS with Postgres database.
• Frontend skills with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind for modern UI.
• Strong RESTful API design and JSON data interchange.
• Adherence to SOLID principles and common design patterns.
• Solid Agile experience, especially Scrum, with distributed teams.

We're in search of a Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer to come aboard our Scrum team and take on a mix of back-end and front-end responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings solid expertise in Python along with an Infrastructure as Code mindset. Beyond that, familiarity with AWS, Postgres relational databases, and front-end technologies like Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind is expected. This position calls for close teamwork, participation in code reviews, and full engagement in Scrum ceremonies.
