Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a Scrum team, owning both backend and frontend tasks. The role requires strong Python expertise with FastAPI, and an IaC mindset in AWS environments, plus Postgres, Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind to deliver modern cloud-native apps.

You will participate in code reviews, refine development workflows, and actively engage in Scrum ceremonies while applying SOLID principles and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• At least 1 year leading and managing development teams.
• Hands-on Python experience, especially FastAPI, for backend services.
• IaC methods to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS with Postgres database.
• Frontend skills with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind for modern UI.
• Strong RESTful API design and JSON data interchange.
• Adherence to SOLID principles and common design patterns.
• Solid Agile experience, especially Scrum, with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns both backend and frontend development within the product.
• Collaborate closely with teammates to refine and improve development workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Fully engage in Scrum ceremonies and agile processes.
• Identify and fix bugs and security vulnerabilities quickly and effectively.
