Ensambles Hyson, S.A. de C.V. in Sonora, Mexico seeks an experienced Lead Engineer to support Product Lifecycle, improve quality, launch new plastic injection molds, and reduce costs. The role requires hands-on leadership, mentorship of junior engineers, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

A relocation bonus applies to eligible candidates. You will drive root-cause analyses, implement systemic improvements, and ensure design integrity from concept through production.

Formación

• BS Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical preferred).
• 9+ years of design, project engineering, or product engineering with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials relevant to plastics and elastomeric components.
• Proficient in CAD packages including modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Experience leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, SPC, DOE and Six Sigma techniques.
• Strong root cause analysis, optimization, and reliability study capabilities.
• Experience with FEA and CFD and product testing techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Identify root causes of product quality issues and develop and implement systemic solutions to eliminate future recurrences.
• Develop products and process improvements to address these causes.
• Support manufacturing plants on implementation of quality, manufacturability and productivity improvements.
• Lead quality improvement projects from initial conception/justification through validation and implementation.
• Coordinate and implement new product development, brainstorming, prototyping and introduction of new concepts from Design-stage to production readiness.
• Responsible for maintaining product lifecycle quality and design integrity.
