Ensambles Hyson seeks an experienced Lead Engineer to support Product Lifecycle activities, improve product quality, and launch new plastic injection molds. You will drive cost reduction initiatives and solve performance issues in Rain Bird products, mentoring junior engineers within multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires autonomy in solving complex problems, leadership in projects, and collaboration across functions to align with engineering priorities.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering required.
• 9+ years design/project/product engineering experience.
• Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of design concepts.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with RB manufacturing processes (ultrasonic welding, injection molding) and materials.

Responsabilidades

• Identify root causes of product quality issues and implement systemic solutions to prevent recurrences.
• Develop products and process improvements to address these causes.
• Support manufacturing plants on quality, manufacturability and productivity improvements.
• Lead quality improvement projects from conception through validation and implementation.
• Coordinate and implement new product development from Design-stage to production readiness.
• Maintain product lifecycle quality and design integrity.
