Schneider Electric seeks a Senior Engineer I, Electromechanical Design to lead development and optimization of electromechanical subsystems for low‑voltage distribution equipment. You will apply CAD, FEA, and GD&T to meet performance, safety, and cost targets.

You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and ensure alignment with standards (UL/IEC/NEMA) while collaborating with electrical engineers and cross‑functional teams across the product lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in NPD for low‑voltage electrical distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/ DFA, and DF Cost methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and optimization of electromechanical subsystems for low‑voltage distribution equipment.
• Translate customer requirements into robust engineering solutions across the product lifecycle.
• Perform simulations, analyses, and tests to validate designs and drive manufacturability and cost targets.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and cross‑functional teams to integrate mechanical and electrical subsystems.
