Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced design engineer to lead complex design activities for chillers and HVAC systems. You will oversee design deliverables, ensure compliance with design processes, and drive cross-functional collaboration with contract and product engineering.

Responsibilities include 3D modeling, electrical harness routing, BOM management, and leading DFMEA/DFMA activities to achieve reliable, safe, and compliant products for global markets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of product development experience.
• HVAC or R&D experience; ASME knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design engineering and project oversight to ensure on-time deliverables and full compliance with product design development processes.
• Lead complex design of special options for current chillers.
• Lead DFMEA/DFMA, product agile design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams.
• Coordinate with contract and product engineering to understand system interactions and constraints.
