Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Digital Control Systems Tender Engineer to design robust automation solutions for industrial projects. You will craft DCS/PLC/SCADA architectures, review technical deliverables, and support competitive proposals for North America.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate customer requirements into concrete technical bids, manage risks, and participate in technical discussions in English with US clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Proven experience with DCS and PLC systems in industrial automation.
• Experience supporting tendering, proposals, or front-end engineering for automation projects.
• Strong understanding of control system design, architecture development, and technical specifications.
• English proficiency at B2-C1 for US projects.
• Strong analytical mindset balancing technical excellence and commercial competitiveness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions for opportunities involving DCS, PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation platforms.
• Lead the technical review and definition of control system architectures.
• Support tendering by preparing technical proposals, estimating engineering effort, selecting hardware/software, and defining execution strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, proposal, and engineering to develop competitive bids.
• Translate customer requirements into robust automation and control system designs.
• Identify risks, assumptions, and deviations and propose mitigations.
• Provide technical expertise for US market discussions in English.
