EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Lead Data Scientist to apply NLP/LLM techniques and broad data science methods to identify sources of customer friction in large text datasets. You will develop tools to speed up friction detection and product enhancement, while guiding strategic decisions with senior stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in data science, leadership of teams, strong NLP/LLM knowledge, and hands-on ML deployment with monitoring.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or closely related area.
• At least 5 years of applicable data science experience.
• Experience leading and managing development teams (1+ year).
• Deep knowledge of ML, NLP and LLMs with business problem framing.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R.
• Ability to deploy ML/NLP projects with monitoring and governance.
• Strong communication to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
