Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Lead Application AI Engineer to build tooling that modernizes legal workflows. You will embed AI agents in customer processes, and architect Jira Service Management solutions for complex legal orgs.

You will drive Configuration as Code practices and automated release pipelines, delivering value in CLM workflows. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on AI and engineering experience, proven leadership, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on professional experience.
Minimum 1 year leading development teams.
Experience constructing, configuring, and embedding AI agents into operational workflows.
Expertise in Jira Service Management architecture and configuration.
Strong background in Configuration as Code and automated deployments (CI/CD).
Hands-on Gen AI development and prompt engineering.
Fluent English (B2 level or higher).

Responsibilities

Construct and embed AI agents within customer workflows to automate legal operations.
Architect and tune Jira Service Management solutions for complex legal orgs.
Apply Configuration as Code and establish automated deployment pipelines for repeatable releases.
