Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Chief Data Integration Engineer to lead and shape large-scale data integration initiatives. You will evaluate existing pipelines, review architectures, and deliver analyses that influence the future state of the data platform.

You will collaborate with discovery teams and global colleagues to drive scalable, cloud-native solutions. The role demands deep technical expertise in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and modern data tools, plus strong leadership and fluent

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Data Integration
• 2+ years leading teams
• Strong ETL/ELT and data warehousing knowledge
• Cloud-native data integration with AWS
• Experience with AWS Glue to build pipelines
• Proficiency in Python for data integration
• Advanced SQL and scripting abilities
• Fluent English at B2 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Assess current data ingestion and transformation pipelines for design and effectiveness
• Review architecture docs and code, applying accelerators to speed up reviews
• Deliver well-defined analyses and complexity estimates to guide future work
• Collaborate with the discovery team to shape solution design and estimate effort
• Work with cross-functional teams to define target state and plan
