Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Data Scientist to lead initiatives within the Digital Operations team. You will mentor citizen data scientists, manage cross-functional projects, and deploy advanced analytics from conception to production.

The role focuses on manufacturing, supply chain, and quality analytics, leveraging ML and AI to create business value. The position emphasizes governance, scalable pipelines, and close collaboration with IT and data engineers to monitor model performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Data Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Data Science strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading and managing citizen data scientists.
• Specialization in ML/AI/cognitive science and agile methodologies.
• Experience applying ML and data science to forecasting, production planning, logistics, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science initiatives within Digital Operations across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Mentor citizen data scientists and manage end-to-end projects from inception to deployment.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and production ML models with governance.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering to deploy and monitor models.
• Communicate findings and drive data-driven decision making with stakeholders.
