Blend is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data ingestion on Snowflake-based platforms. This client-facing leadership role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication to ensure high-quality, governed data pipelines powering analytics for enterprise clients.

You will lead end-to-end ELT pipelines on AWS, enforce data quality, and apply Medallion Architecture across projects, while guiding best practices in governance and pipeline reliability.

Formación

• 4+ years in Data Engineering
• Snowflake hands-on experience
• ELT pipelines and ingestion
• SQL and large-scale processing
• Medallion Architecture expertise
• AWS data pipelines experience
• Data quality, validation and governance
• Snowflake Cortex familiarity
• CI/CD for data workflows
• Iceberg tables and data sharing
• dbt, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Terraform or CloudFormation

Responsabilidades

• Lead Snowflake data ingestion design for scalable architectures
• Develop end-to-end ELT pipelines across sources
• Design data quality frameworks and validation rules
• Apply Medallion Architecture across pipelines
• Build data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR)
• Enhance data validation frameworks and UI components (Streamlit)
• Serve as technical leadership for governance and reliability
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and mitigation strategies
• Contribute to data governance, lineage, stewardship
• Drive documentation and continuous improvement of processes
