Fitch Group in Monterrey, MX is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and deploy scalable data pipelines and API integrations. You will mentor engineers, shape data architecture, and drive data solutions across data lakes and warehouses in a cloud environment.

You will collaborate with AI/ML teams, apply CI/CD practices, and lead cross-functional delivery while advancing data governance and operational excellence.

Formación

• 5–8 years of hands-on data engineering experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with API and data pipeline experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud, Kubernetes/EKS, Lambda, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiar with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Governance, and Data Mesh concepts.
• 1–2 years of AI-enabled engineering or data tooling experience.
• Ability to lead technical workstreams and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Act as technical lead, contributing to coding, SQL, testing, and production support.
• Develop data lakes and warehouses with strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Work on AI-enabled tools, prompt workflows, and vector databases for automation.
• Partner with analytics and AI teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
• Lead design and coordination across initiatives, mentoring engineers.
• Establish data engineering standards for quality, testing, observability.
• Drive improvements in data architecture and reusable engineering patterns.
