albo is a leading fintech in Mexico City seeking a high-performing Data Engineer to manage and scale core financial data infrastructure. You will oversee a hybrid environment powering services including SPEI, leveraging AI to automate tasks and optimize workloads.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data engineering, hands-on GCP and Airflow experience, and fluency in Spanish. The role emphasizes performance tuning, DRP, and fintech data expertise.

Formación

• 4+ years as a Data Engineer, Data Platform Engineer, or similar role in high-transaction environments.
• Deep, hands-on experience with GCP and Apache Airflow.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Bash, and Terraform/Ansible for deployments.
• Strong experience administering MySQL, MongoDB, and distributed databases.
• Expertise in execution plans, query optimization, high availability, and replication.
• Experience in fintech/banking data systems and payment gateways.
• Fluent in Spanish (spoken and technical).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Spark, and Apache Airflow.
• Architect and optimize data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform.
• Administer and scale MongoDB and MySQL in a hybrid environment.
• Ensure 99.99% availability, DRP, and seamless data flow for on-prem MySQL.
• Identify data bottlenecks and optimize queries for millisecond latency.
• Integrate Generative AI tools to accelerate data scripting and modeling.
