Advanced Energy in Mexicali seeks a Lead Continuous Improvement to drive process enhancements across manufacturing and related domains. You will guide CI teams, apply Lean Six Sigma methods, and partner with leadership to align improvements with business goals.

The role requires 7+ years in CI, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate with all levels. Travel and global collaboration are expected; a US visa and passport are desirable.

Formación

• 7+ years of CI project coordination experience.
• 7+ years as engineering team leader.
• 6 sigma Black belt certified (Master Black belt desirable).
• 6 sigma Lean Manufacturing certified.
• Statistical data analysis experience is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree (Industrial engineering) is required.

Responsabilidades

• As a consultant and facilitator to challenge teams to enhance the performance of their processes.
• Coordinate, track, and provide status updates on CI projects with cadence reporting.
• Support CI roadmap and communicate issues.
• Guide CI teams on strategies to enhance process effectiveness.
• Act as support to the business unit in a service provider role.
• Communicate across leadership levels and external entities on a global basis.
• Respond to managers to enhance productivity.
• Interpret and direct CI teams to follow policies and improvements.
• Implement analytical methodologies and ensure alignment with business strategy.
• Leverage CI tools, workflows, and data to drive improvements.
• Apply process knowledge to domains like production, inventory, cost, finance.

Lead Continuous Improvement

• As a consultant and facilitator to challenge teams to enhance the performance of their processes.
• Works as a process transformation expert identifying opportunities to partner with leadership in support of the organization's business goals and objectives.
• Coordinate, track, and provide status updates on the continuous improvement projects and assesses progress and establishes cadence reporting on CI performance goals.
• Support and communicate issues that can affect our CI roadmap.
• Support business units with ongoing CI projects by guiding the CI teams on the organization given strategies to enhance process effectiveness.
• Acts as a support to the business unit, in service provider role.
• Relationships are intra- and inter-organizational.
• The ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and employees, peers, customers, suppliers, academicians, external entities on a global basis is key.
• Responds to manufacturing and department managers to enhance productivity.
• Functions as an advisor regarding tasks, projects, and operations.
• Interprets and direct the CI teams to follow the organization policies, procedures, process improvements and control initiatives within domain of the CI project.
• Implements analytical methodologies, including survey and analysis techniques of processes and best practices. Maintains initiative alignment with business vision strategy and deployment within the company.
• Leverages continuous improvement tools, computer system capabilities, business processes and workflows.
• Applies business process knowledge to assigned domains to drive continuous improvement projects. Domains may include production, information delivery, inventory control, distribution, cost analysis, finance, human resources, business problems and technical problems.
