Celestica Global Automation in Monterrey, Mexico seeks an Automation Mechanical Design Engineer (Equipment Focus) to drive development, procurement management, implementation and optimization of automation equipment. The role blends 60% turnkey projects with external integrators and 40% in-house engineering, reporting to the Senior Manager of Automation Engineering in Monterrey.

You will gather URS requirements, evaluate suppliers, review 3D CAD, track BOMs, and oversee shop-floor commissioning,

• URS/SOW/LOR creation and validation for custom automated machinery and tooling.

• Lead mechanical design of custom end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and fixtures.
