TE Connectivity Corporation in TIJUANA, Mexico, seeks an Automation Engineer to contribute to multiple automation projects, lead equipment installation and improve manufacturing productivity. You will work onsite with cross-functional teams on design, integration, and deployment of automated systems.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of automation experience, a degree in Mechatronics/Electronics, strong PLC and robotics skills, and experience with Kaizen/5S initiatives.

Formación

• 5 to 7 years in automation engineering or similar roles.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley, Omron, Keyence, Siemens).
• Hands-on experience with robots, cobots, vision systems, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Knowledge of sensors, motors, and servomotors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience managing automation projects from concept through implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and implement automation projects focused on improving manufacturing processes and productivity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, and automated production equipment.
• Perform sustaining engineering activities and resolve production equipment issues.
• Support the assembly, installation, integration, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Design and develop fixtures and automation solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Manage the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for automation projects.
• Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive 5S implementation and process standardization efforts.
• Ensure technical deliverables, project timelines, and performance objectives are achieved.
