Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Mexico is seeking a Lead AI Solution Engineer to drive risk-driven automation, architect MCP-based integrations, and review backlogs with a security-first mindset.

You will mentor development teams, shape overall architecture as new AI capabilities roll out, and contribute to governance frameworks while collaborating with global teams on cost-optimization and secure AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional background.
• Experience leading and managing development teams (1+ year).
• Strong grounding in API and integration standards for secure, scalable systems.
• Background applying AI in practice within agentic business transformation contexts.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and trust concepts in AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on AI skills, agents, connectors, and MCP integrations, measuring against security benchmarks.
• Architect and build MCP servers, connectors, and integrations for approved scenarios.
• Evaluate connectors for data exposure, permissions, identity, and auditability risks.
• Contribute to AI governance frameworks, review workflows, and risk evaluation methods.
• Provide architectural guidance to promote secure AI integration across the organization.

Job description

We're in search of a Lead AI Solution Engineer to join our organization. The role involves supporting the automation of risk-driven controls and connector design patterns, along with hands-on review of the existing backlog. The selected candidate will be expected to weigh in on triaging the review workflow, tooling decisions, and software supply chain matters, while also shaping overall architecture as new capabilities come online.
