Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Software Engineer AI (Staff Engineer) to own the architecture of AI-backed backend systems within Audit Suite. You will shape patterns for MCP servers, agent design, LLM usage, and scalable infrastructure, influencing multiple product areas.

Expect to guide cross-functional teams, mentor senior engineers, and drive AI integration across complex workflows. You will design end-to-end backend services using C#/.NET, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, and other

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years total experience with 2+ years in a lead role and 5+ years in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQLServer or PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience architecting AI-driven, scalable backend systems and orchestration of LLMs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end architecture and system design of backend AI workflows.
• Mentor engineers, set technical direction, and drive code quality across teams.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, product, design, and PMs to translate improvements into production.
• Define and evolve AI-first backend services and orchestration patterns.
• Establish observability, SLOs, and reliability practices for high-scale AI workloads.
