ABB in Juarez, Nuevo Leon, is hiring a MES Champion/Modeler to support MES implementations. You will combine hands-on MES modeling with project management and Agile coordination, acting as the local MES reference between the factory and Global MES.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in manufacturing or CS, with strong backend skills and SAP/ERP knowledge. This hybrid role involves cross-functional collaboration and travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience within Manufacturing or Computer Science related role.
• Knowledge of MES and ERP systems, materials management and production control; SAP preferred.
• Proven backend development experience for mid size projects.
• Strong backend programming capabilities.
• Experience with discrete manufacturing and capability to analyze and synthesize information obtained from various groups of stakeholders.
• Experience with production control, specifically MES/ECS systems.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Support MES implementation as MES Champion/Modeler.
• Lead local MES projects from requirements through implementation and deployment.
• Coordinate the local MES team and the different technical contributors.
• Apply Agile methodologies to organize and manage local MES development activities.
• Manage the sprint backlog, priorities, planning and follow-up of development activities.
• Coordinate development, testing, deployment and issue resolution.
• Promote reuse, documentation and knowledge sharing within the local team.
• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies and resource availability.
