ABB in Juarez is seeking an MES Backend Developer to build and maintain backend logic for MES, integrating with SAP and IoT components. You will work closely with MES Champion/Modeler to implement robust, scalable MES solutions while following global architecture and coding standards.

Requires a strong background in backend development, MES modelling, and English fluency; willingness to travel is expected. This hybrid role offers collaboration across IT and operations to improve manufacturing

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience within Manufacturing or Computer Science related role.
• Knowledge of MES and ERP systems, materials management and production control, Critical Manufacturing MES and SAP preferred.
• Proven track record of backend development for mid size projects.
• Strong backend programming capabilities.
• Experience with discrete manufacturing & capability to analyze and synthesize information obtained from various groups of stakeholders.
• Experience with production control, specifically MES/ECS systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Availability to travel with possibly some international travel.
• Fluent English.

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as a back end developer.

The MES Backend Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of MES backend components and business logic, working closely with the MES Champion / Modeler to implement reliable and scalable MES solutions.

The role requires strong backend development capabilities combined with a basic understanding of MES modelling, enabling the developer to understand the functional structure of the solution and correctly integrate custom developments with the MES model.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the IT Business in Juarez.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain MES backend logic, services and extensions.
