Job summary

Eaton seeks a Latam R&D Manager to lead regional R&D and Engineering, driving localization, cost reduction, manufacturing innovation, and capital projects across LATAM. This role supports operations in Mexico, CAC, Chile and Brazil, with ~50% travel and reporting to the LATAM Operations Director.

You will foster engineering talent, standardize processes, and partner with Supply Chain, Quality/OpEx and Plant Managers to ensure compliance with Eaton standards and local regulations while expanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in engineering/R&D.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional R&D and manufacturing engineering across LATAM.
• Drive product localization, cost reduction, and manufacturing innovation.
• Standardize processes and manage Capex projects.
• Develop and coach regional engineering talent.
