Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Senior Buyer for Indirect Procurement to lead regional sourcing across Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure policy compliance with global and local teams.

You will drive regional strategies, manage spend analysis, and collaborate with LATAM and US teams to deliver value while maintaining ethics and transparency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degrees in business administration and international business.
5+ years in procurement, indirect procurement or equivalent focusing in LATAM categories.
Advanced English (mandatory).
Experience with Coupa or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Design and execute regional sourcing strategies for indirect categories (facilities, legal, insurance, travel, taxes, HR, IT, finance, security, services).
Lead bidding processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and develop category strategies regionally and per country.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers in line with corporate policies.
Analyze proposals, run quotations, and benchmark prices before awards.
Ensure compliance with global policies and regulatory frameworks (FCPA, SOX).
Build and maintain supplier relationships to drive efficiency and value.
