Job summary

The Latin America Donor Relations Manager II (DRM II) at The Nature Conservancy will partner with regional and local development leaders to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts supporting conservation work in Belize, Guatemala and Mexico. The role emphasizes donor strategy, relationship building and coordinating cross-unit collaboration across Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff.
• Experience understanding an individual’s interests, capacity and potential for helping TNC meet its goals.
• Experience generating reports and analysing and interpreting the data.
• Experience working across departments and multiple teams.
• Experience in fundraising principles and practices.
• Fluency in English and Spanish and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience.
• Strong project management skills including coordinating activities led by others and managing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Associate Director of Development for Latin America in achieving the “raised for” goal of US $40M (stretch goal for FY27).
• Support donor and leadership engagement opportunities in Belize, Guatemala and Mexico including meetings, trips, events and leadership visits.
• Project manage internal review processes needed for solicitations and gifts for assigned country markets.
• Use the donor database to update information, produce reports, and track donors.
• Persuasively convey TNC’s mission to diverse groups and ensure compliant engagement experiences.
