Datadog is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director to lead and scale our Technical Support Engineering organization across LATAM. You will build high-performing teams, expand regional presence, and ensure operational excellence as we grow.

You will manage managers and engineers across multiple countries, drive hiring, onboarding, and cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering, and set global standards while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Formación

• 8+ years in Technical Support, Solutions Eng., or similar role.
• 5+ years leading managers in a multi-layered org.
• Experience building/scaling teams in new locations or emerging markets.
• Experience managing multi-country teams and navigating cultural differences.
• Strong LATAM market familiarity and regional nuances.
• Consistent performance standards across distributed teams.
• Customer-centred thinker with strong analytics and high EQ.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and scale a multi-country Technical Support Engineering org across LATAM.
• Evaluate and launch new LATAM support locations as growth requires.
• Own team metrics and performance; partner with HR on management issues.
• Provide strategic guidance to managers on regional projects.
• Lead regional hiring to meet quarterly targets for LATAM.
• Onboard and develop Technical Support Engineers.
• Drive cross-functional projects to improve productivity and processes.
• Collaborate on high-priority escalations with Sales, CS, Eng, and Product.
• Conduct regular 1:1 feedback and skills development.
• Coordinate with other groups to implement workflow improvements for smooth operation.
