Job summary

Fitch Ratings seeks an Associate Director to cover LATAM Consumer & Retail from Monterrey. You will lead analytical work, build financial models, and present ratings discussions with management teams and committees.

The role requires strong credit analysis skills, fluency in English and Spanish, and experience in the retail/consumer sectors. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office) and opportunities for professional growth within a global ratings firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Retail & Consumer sectors or equivalent.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency (verbal and written).
• Expertise in Excel and Word; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality for LATAM Consumer & Retail.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Present analyses to internal credit rating committees.
• Conduct meetings with LATAM Consumer & Retail industry management teams.
• Communicate rating rationale to external audiences in meetings and reports.
• Write timely, high-quality research on topical issues.
• Mentor junior team members and represent Fitch in industry discussions.
