Global Payments Inc. is seeking a software developer to participate in the full software development life cycle, creating, coding, debugging, maintaining, testing, implementing, and validating applications using a variety of languages and architectures.

The role emphasizes a broad understanding of application logic, flowcharting, and coding practices, with a focus on PCI security compliance. The position involves developing basic code, following specifications, and assisting with documentation,

Formación

BS in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related field.
No prior professional experience required.
Basic knowledge of two or more modern programming languages and APIs.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with PCI security practices is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Write basic code using front- or back-end languages within directed platform.
Follow program specifications for routine coding and support projects or issues with limited application and database depth.
Assist with application documentation, testing, and validation as directed.
Perform testing and validation of basic code changes, identify deficiencies, and apply corrective measures.
Utilize documentation to develop code and recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Ensure compliance with PCI security standards and other company policies in all coding activities.
