Mastercard is evolving its Developer Workbench into a unified, developer‑centric platform. The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain core components, helping shape a productized developer experience used by 11,500+ engineers across the organization.

The role focuses on enabling tooling across the development lifecycle, driving AI-augmented capabilities, and collaborating with security and compliance teams to meet Mastercard's standards.

Formación

• Experience in design, build, and maintenance of developer platforms or internal tooling.
• Hands-on experience with platform engineering at enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with the modern developer tooling ecosystem including AI coding aids and containerized environments.
• Experience with AI-powered developer tools in regulated environments, including policy compliance and access controls.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain core components of the Developer Workbench across the full development lifecycle.
• Influence the product roadmap and governance for tooling in a cohesive, productized developer experience.
• Drive integration of software engineering tools across the lifecycle with emphasis on usability and reliability.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to deliver workbench capabilities aligned to engineering priorities.
• Develop onboarding flows and self-service tooling to maximize tool adoption by thousands of engineers.
• Implement pre-provisioned onboarding environments enabling new hires to be productive within 30 minutes.
