Job summary

Doka Group in Mexico City is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join the Engineering Center transformation. You will produce REVIT and AutoCAD drawings and material lists that reflect proper use of Doka concrete forming equipment for customers.

Reporting to the ECA Manager, you will design formwork solutions, prepare shop drawings, and provide design support to the sales team from early project stages to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 1–2 years of experience in formwork engineering and statics.
• Intermediate English for USA/CAN teams.
• Intermediate English for LAM teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement formwork solutions as per instructions from the TEAM LEADER – or the employee he assigns, based on project requirements.
• Design formwork solutions in REVIT / AutoCAD
• Create formwork design for customers presentations
• Propose the most economical and best technical solution
• Conduct basic static calculations
• Produce material list, offer drawings and shop drawings
• Coordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
• Procure availability of the material in the design stage

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for producing REVIT / AutoCAD drawings and material lists that represent the proper use of Doka concrete forming equipment for customers. You will provide design and technical assistance to the sales department from the preliminary stage of a project to its completion.

You will report directly to the ECA Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required level to execute the job at a productive level

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) or Architecture

EXPERIENCE

• 1–2 years of experience in formwork engineering and statics
