EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico, is seeking a CAD Designer Junior to join our product development team. You will create parametric 3D data and 2D drawings for interior trim projects, ensuring alignment with construction standards and EDAG quality requirements.

You will work under senior designers to prepare technical details, BOMs, and documentation. Strong English is required; German (A2) is desirable, and international exposure is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Mechanical engineering or related.
• 2+ years of product development experience.
• 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation using CATIA/NX.
• Experience with injection molding plastics and vacuum forming.
• Surface modeling and part design experience.
• Understanding GD&T.

Responsabilidades

• Develop parametric 3D data and 2D drawings according to construction standards and EDAG requirements.
• Create and review parts lists/BOMs and documentation.
• Prepare technical details under supervision of senior designers.
• Analyze interior and exterior trim parts to ensure quality.
• Communicate with the team and propose basic solutions.
• Follow design rules, checklists, and instructions.
• Review and validate technical details.

DESCRIPTION

• Product development experience for Interior Trim.
• Develop and build parametric 3D data according to construction standards with the level of quality required by other EDAG offices and our clients.
• Understanding problems on injection molding process and how to solve them.
• Creation of 2D drawings and apply knowledge of: GD&T, manufacturing process, injection molding.
• Prepare technical details under the supervision of Sr. designers.
• Interior and exterior trim parts analysis to guaranty quality on the parts.
• Communicate clearly with the team, and propose basic solutions.
• Create parts lists /BOM / Documentation.
• Follow and understand design rules, checklist and team instructions.
• Review and validate technical details.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor´s degree in Automotive engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Mechanicalengineering or related.
• 2+ year of experience product development.
• 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation (CATIA/NX).
• Experience with injection molding plastic parts and vacuum forming.
• Experience in surface modeling and part design.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• International Experience desirable.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).
