Alten Mexico 1 is seeking a Mechatronics Design & Release Engineer to own cockpit components design, development and production release. You will work across cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of interior systems and meet vehicle objectives.

The role requires collaboration with design verification, supplier coordination and BOM management. The position emphasizes end-to-end ownership of components, including weight/cost reduction efforts and field support, with English proficiency

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering or MBA.
• 1–3 years in reviewing, validating and releasing automotive cockpit designs.
• Mechatronics experience on cockpit components and systems.
• Experience with NX, Catia V5 and Teamcenter is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Component design, development and packaging for cockpit systems.
• Collaboration with DVPR testing and design verification activities.
• Change management and BOM maintenance.
• Prototype and production build support.
• Issue management and root-cause analysis for field issues.
• CAD model management in Teamcenter and regular status updates.
• Support weight and cost reduction initiatives and supplier collaboration.
• Communicate technical status to management and plant teams.
