ALTEN Mexico is seeking a Mechatronics Design & Release Engineer to lead end-to-end design, development, timing, and production release of interior roof system components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and optimize release processes.

The role covers component design, DVPR testing coordination, BOM maintenance, and support for production and field issues. 1+ year experience and bilingual English proficiency required.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (MBA optional).
• 1–3 years in reviewing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive components (Roof Systems).
• Mechatronics experience on Roof Systems and related components.
• Experience with electrical diagrams, software, and testing of mechatronics components.
• Experience with infotainment, connectivity, and embedded systems is valuable.

Responsabilidades

• Component design, development, and packaging.
• Collaboration with PDO and Sciences, DVPR testing.
• Change management.
• Bill of material maintenance.
• Prototype and production build support.
• Issues management.
• CAD model management in Teamcenter.
• Weight and cost reduction and other efficiency improvements.
• Communicating technical product status to management.
• Supporting vehicle assembly plants for product issues.
• Support service teams for field warranty issues and root cause analysis.
• Work with suppliers to meet program timing and deliverables.
