ALTEN Mexico seeks an Interiors Design and Release Engineer to design and release cockpit components, validate functions, and manage the BOM and CAD drawings. You will oversee design verification, supplier coordination, and production launch support, ensuring system and vehicle-level objectives are met.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in instrument panels or similar automotive interiors, with CAD/PLM proficiency and strong problem-solving abilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience or knowledge in Instrumental Panel, Doors and Consoles.
• Familiar with hard plastic processes: extrusion, injection, thermoforming, compression.
• Experience with ABS, PP, electronic components, fabrics (leather, cloth, vinyl).
• Experience with supplier management and product launches.
• Experience in the automotive industry and CAD tools (NX, Catia V5).
• Knowledge of PLM systems such as Teamcenter or ENOVIA.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and GD&T/DFMEA/PPAP/APQP.
• English advanced; strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Own component and system design, development, validation, timing, and release for cockpit areas.
• Manage BOM, CAD drawings, validation testing, and engineering change notices.
• Support PPAP, DVP/Rs, VEAs, and launch production activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
