Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Jr Material Planner for our Toluca, Mexico site. You will manage procurement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods, aiming to maintain service levels and control inventory KPIs.

You will lead forecasting for North American production sites and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely supply. The role requires 2–3 years in material or demand planning, a Bachelor degree, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Excel (pivot tables) skills required.
• English and Spanish advanced.
• Experience: 2–3 years in material/demand planning or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders to fulfill demand for procured materials.
• Monitor requisitions with past release dates and action as needed.
• Analyze and address raw material crisis alerts on a daily basis.
• Keep planning parameters up to date and perform ad hoc updates.
• Follow-up on supplier delivery confirmations and update the system.
