Job summary

Turtle Trax S.A. in Mexico is seeking an entry-level cybersecurity enthusiast to join a growing team. You’ll investigate and defend against incidents, monitor detection systems, and analyze potential attack vectors to protect clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, strong communication, and the ability to work with remote-based colleagues. Knowledge of DNS, IP/subnetting, Linux, and scripting basics will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Relevant education or experience in IT is preferred.
• Knowledge of Internet fundamentals: DNS, HTTP, SMTP and related protocols.
• Understanding of common internet attacks including fraud and social engineering.

Responsibilities

• Monitor internal detection systems for new attacks and validate threats.
• Monitor systems for attack reports from clients and their customers.
• Analyze potential attack vectors and explore resolution options.
• Build relationships with partnering providers and clients.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to protect and serve clients.
• Utilize programs and tools including DNS tools, WhoIs, open-source tools, scripting (Bash, GO, Python), Linux, and more.
