Citi in Mexico is seeking a Credit Analyst 1 to support assessment of financial statements, GAAP compliance, and loan analysis. You will spread financial data, help underwriters with judgments, and contribute to risk evaluation.

This developing role offers exposure to credit risk processes and collaboration with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers while building solid analytical expertise.

Formación

• 0-2 years experience in a financial institution focused on credit analysis and spreading software.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial regulations, financial products, and credit analysis.
• Ability to analyze business and personal financial statements in line with GAAP and Citibank policies.

Responsabilidades

• Spread business and personal financial statements and tax returns in a timely manner following GAAP and Citibank policies.
• Ensure financial data for simple to complex credits is mapped into the bank's analysis tools.
• Provide comments to underwriters on significant items and assist with loan structuring and pricing.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers, Analysts, and Relationship Managers.
• Perform preliminary analysis of credits, including cash flow, DSCR, collateral, and guarantor net worth.
• Ensure quality assurance reviews before forwarding for underwriting.
