Job summary

Jabil is seeking a procurement professional to secure components for production and prototypes, balancing cost, lead times, and quality. You will manage sourcing decisions and ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining the MRP, coordinating with suppliers, issuing POs under negotiated terms, and driving supplier performance while controlling inventory and freight costs. You will collaborate with SCM and finance to resolve discrepancies and support production.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining MRP and materials pipeline.
• Ability to read and interpret the Master Production Schedule.
• Strong data interpretation and supplier performance tracking.
• Familiarity with supplier negotiations and terms.

Responsibilities

• Participate in MPS loading decisions with proper materials sizing.
• Analyze, maintain, and execute MRP; monitor materials pipeline.
• Ensure materials availability to support production per MPS.
• Eliminate materials liabilities and track supplier responsibility.
• Issue POs with negotiated terms; ensure supplier adherence.
• Optimize order management and supplier communications.
• Maintain master data and purchasing planning parameters.
• Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance.
• Support Accounts Payable in invoice discrepancies.
• Contribute to commodity and pricing strategy with SCM.
• Minimize materials freight expenses.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
